The Beginning:

I had been thinking about getting a new car for some time, especially since my present means of transportation left a lot to be desired in several key areas. Namely gas mileage and cargo space (more on that later).

I considered many options but keep coming back to the PT Crusier. I have always like the Cruiser and decided it was time to get one.

The next decision... should I purchase a new or pre-owned Cruiser. If I purchased a new Cruiser I would not have the extra cash to personalize it... it would look just like any other stock cruiser. I decided to get a pre-owned Cruiser so that I could "make it my own".

	2002 Inferno Red Limited Pre-Owned w/25,600 miles Purchased without ever leaving my house! (Except for the test drive, of course.)
There weren't any pre-owned PT's in the area that interested me so I called a dealer located about 40 miles north. Fortunately they had a pre-owned PT that fit the bill. The salesman I spoke to offered to drive the car, down the next day, for me to look over. Sunday afternoon around 12:30 pm the salesman showed up.
	After looking the car over and test driving it, we settled in my living room to discuss a price. I made an offer, he then drove back to the dealership and spoke with his boss. In less than 90 minutes, including driving time, the salesman called and informed me that his boss had a counter offer. We haggled for awhile and finally settled on what I felt was a fair price.
As part of the deal it was agreed that the "Chrome Clad" wheels would be replaced with the real Chrome 'Dimpled' Wheels. On Monday, the salesman drove back down and we completed the paper work in the comfort of my living room. I gave him a check and he gave me the keys... easiest automobile purchase I've ever made.
